Sakura sweet pepper
Of Eastern European origin, this is an early maturing sweet pepper worth trying in short season areas. The fruit are shaped like elongated cones and measure about 5 x 11.5 cm. They have a thick, juicy flesh and change from yellowish green to red as they mature.
The medium-sized plants can be grown either in the ground or pots 7.5 to 10 litres in size. Either way, they need support, especially as the fruit get bigger.
