Prairie Fire
(Capsicum annuum)

Prairie Fire is a lovely spice-type chilli that has extremely hot small fruit. The plants are low growing, and the fruit grows above the foliage, making it easier to see the display of colours as they mature from a pale yellow to orange and then red. The short, spreading plants need no support and are a natural for growing in pots, whether large (30cm diameter) or small (13cm diameter).

Approximate heat level: 108,000 SHU (very hot)
