Description
Currently the plants we are selling are covered with beautiful purple and white flowers and a good smattering of purple chillies. The plants will continue to grow and fill out, and the chillies – which are fully edible – will turn red.
Loco
(Capsicum annuum)
An attractive chilli with dark green leaves and purple-fringed white flowers. The short, cone-shaped fruit start a lilac purple, then ripen to orange and then red as they mature. They are medium hot, and point upwards above the foliage, so all the colours can be seen, and are about 25–30mm long .
The plants have a neat, slightly cascading growth habit that makes them ideal for growing unsupported in larger pots.
Heat level: approx. 24,000 SHU (medium-heat)
