Description
Hot Palette
(Capsicum annuum)
A knockout ornamental with variegated white and green leaves. Their colour is augmented by the fruit, which change from purple-tinged yellow, to orange and eventually red as they mature.
The elongated, pointed fruit measure about 6 x 55mm. They are very hot and will add plenty of heat to curries, pickles and chutneys.
The plants are short and bushy, and can be grown unsupported in pots 1 to 3 litres in volume. With their diminutive size, they are ideally suited to window sills and other places where space is tight.
Heat level: very hot (approx. 98,000 SHU)
