Description
Capsicum annuum
Bred by Sea Spring Seeds, Dawn produces masses of hot, colourful fruit that change from light yellow to orange and then red as they mature. The thin-fleshed, skinny fruit measure about 6cm long and grow upright above the foliage.
The short, bushy plants need no support and perform well in containers between 1 and 5 litres in volume. The plants’ small size makes them the ideal choice where space is tight, such as a windowsill or greenhouse bench.
Dawn is the sister variety to ‘Dusk‘, a very similar variety (produced from the same cross), only with purple fruit that ripen to red.
Heat level: hot (approx. 50,000 SHU)
